Sing for Hope’s Piano Project, which began in 2010, hit the streets once more between June 5th and June 21st.
The project, fueled by donations and volunteer work, prompted volunteer artists to paint each piano which were later placed throughout 5 New York City boroughs. Check out what happened at the piano on Astor Place below (images of other 49 pianos in slideshow post-video).
Sing for Hope was co-founded in 2006 by Camille Zamora and Monica Yunus, internationally acclaimed sopranos, with the intent to build a resource for artists to give back to their community.
